Balsamic Vinegar Red Onions

Naturally sweet, red onions infused with balsamic vinegar make a delicious side dish.

1 medium red onion
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the onion into small strips. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion over medium heat until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Put the onion in a baking pan, pour balsamic vinegar over the onion. Bake for 10 minutes or until liquid dries up.
