Black-Eyed Pea Salad

1-15 ½ ounce can black-eyed peas, drained, rinsed
1 large tomato, diced
1 medium size avocado, diced
1/3 cup green or red pepper, diced
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon cilantro, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped, optional
1/3 cup Italian salad dressing
Find a large clear glass bowl to mix this in, it makes a very pretty dish! Combine all the ingredients and add Italian salad dressing and toss to coat mixture well.
