Caramel Apple Dessert Pizza

Stewed apples layered on a sweetened pizza crust topped with a classic crumble, and drizzled with creamy, thick caramel sauce.

½ recipe for homemade pizza crust (dessert variation)
5-6 small granny smith apples or other tart variety, peeled, cored, sliced thin
¼ cup white granulated sugar
2 Tbs real maple syrup
1 Tbs lemon juice
¼ tsp all spice
¼ cup unsalted butter
For the topping:
¼ cup cake flour
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup uncooked old fashioned oats
2 Tbs unsalted butter, cut into pieces
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
? tsp ground nutmeg
For the caramel drizzle:
1 cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup whole milk
4 Tbs butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
7oz sweetened condensed milk, half a 14oz can (optional)
