A layer of chewy, decadent brownie, topped with chocolate chip cookie dough then baked to perfection. Brownies and Chocolate Chip Cookies . . . definitely, the best of both worlds here.

6 tablespoons butter, softened
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips (I use ½ milk & ½ semisweet)
10 tablespoons butter, melted
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup cocoa powder
¾ cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
