1/4 C shortening
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 C flour, all purpose
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
2 1/2 C diced Granny Smith apples, peeled
1/2 C granulated sugar

1 C flour, all purpose
1/2 tsp baking powder
