Curry Split Pea Millet Soup

I never liked millet alone, however, I can drink them in this soup!

½ tablespoon olive oil
½ cup chopped onion
½ tablespoon minced garlic
½ cup split pea
¼ cup millet
3 cup vegetable broth or water
½ tablespoon curry powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
Heat olive oil in a pot. Add onion and salt, cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add garlic and continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add peas, millet, broth or water, and curry powder. Heat to boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until peas are soft.
