Easy Roasted Chicken

Everyone should know how to roast a chicken. Consider this a Roasted Chicken 101 lesson. Don't let the beginner title fool you, it's a moist, juicy and flavorful meal that you'll keep on file for years!

1 whole chicken (4-6 lb)
4 T butter, softened
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 lemon, quartered
2 garlic cloves, smashed
