Fresh Apple Ginger Tea

Warm up in the cold winter day, or drink when you feel that a cold is approaching.

½ cup water
3 slices fresh ginger
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon grated green apple
2 strips of lemon zest
Put everything in a small pot. Boil then simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon. Pour through a strainer or directly into a glass. (Optional) Add few drops of lemon juice. To make 2 servings, simply double the ingredients except for the ginger.
