Honey Orange Jello
5
Easy and pretty.
4
3/4 tablespoon agar agar
4 oranges
1 teaspoon honey
4 oranges
1 teaspoon honey
If you want to use the oranges as jello container, trim the top of the oranges and squeeze out the juice by inserting a fork inside and twisting it. If you want to make the jello in separate containers, don’t worry about keeping the shape of the orange, just juice them any way you like. You should have at least more or less one cup of juice.
Mix orange juice and honey, then add agar agar; put in a pot and stir over low heat until well mixed and sticky, about 3 to 5 minutes. Adjust the amount of water for desired texture. More water makes softer jello.
Pour the liquid back to the orange shell (if you saved them), fill as many as you can, then pour the rest into other containers.
Refrigerate until set.
(Optional) Garnish with mint leaf, before or after refrigerating.
