Quick Onion Soup

No-mess onion soup!

½ yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 garlic clove, roughly chopped.
1½ cup water
½ tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ teaspoon soy sauce
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. (You may substitute soy sauce with a little salt) Pour into a pot, boil then simmer for 5 minutes. Ladle into 2 bowls. (Optional) Garnish with chopped green onions.
