Shiitake Mushroom Kebab

Easy vegan snack!

¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
¼ teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon water
3 fresh shiitake
Cut shiitake into ¾-inch to 1-inch pieces. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, sugar and water. Soak shiitake in this liquid for 30 minutes, stirring halfway to make sure all pieces have been immersed in the liquid. In a small bowl, mix salt, cumin, black pepper and paprika. Put the mushroom onto skewers, then sprinkle the dry ingredients over them. Grill over low medium heat for 5 minutes, turning to make sure all sides are cooked evenly.
