Skillet Spinach Artichoke Dip

Cheesy, creamy sauce loaded with fresh spinach and chopped artichoke.

1/4 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/4 cup flour
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
5-6 cups fresh spinach, chopped
2/3 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup sour cream
1 (12 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained
1/2 cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
Cubed bread, crackers, chips or veggies, for dipping
