Super Simple Sugar Cookies

SIMPLE Sugar Cookies. I know you already have a recipe for sugar cookies. But is it SIMPLE? I love this because it's as easy as any cookie recipe and they taste buttery and soft. These sugar cookies have nothing weird in them. No buttermilk, or sour cream, or whatever. There's no chilling involved. They just have regular cookie ingredients--so simple. AND THEY TASTE PERFECT. These are My Man's favorite food. I'm not kidding . . .

3/4 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

THAT'S ALL!

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the rest of the ingredients (dry) and mix thoroughly. Mix until you have a nice thick dough like this. Add more flour as needed to achieve this. Bake at 375...
