Old Fashioned Zucchini Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting is a very easy cake to make and will become one of your favorites! Perfect for using up leftover zucchini or for an easy summer dessert.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
2 cups grated zucchini (about 1 large)
Cream Cheese Frosting
8 oz cream cheese, softened
6 Tbsp butter, softened
2 1/2 - 3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling on top, (optional)
