1 cup (125 grams) all purpose flour

1/4 cup light brown sugar
4 tablespoons granulated sugar, separated
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
3 teaspoons + 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (sub: vanilla extract), separated
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
