Some people call this saltine toffee 'Christmas Crack' because it is that deliciously addictive! Rum extract and sliced almonds bring this saltine toffee to a new level.

24 saltines
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar {light brown works too}
1 tbsp rum extract
1 cup chocolate chips {I used milk chocolate but semi sweet works too}
2-4 tbsp sliced almonds
