A classic Pakistani appetizer = ALOO PAKORA. A savory, fried snack with a satisfying crunch and tons of flavor!

1 cup besan ( gram flour or chickpea flour )
2 large potatoes ( sliced )
1 large onion ( sliced )
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cilantro
1 tsp ajwain ( OPTIONAL )
1 tsp sookha dhania or dried corriander
pinch baking soda
warm water as needed
oil for frying
