Baby Kichdi | Nutritious Baby Food

This is a traditional food in India and also a first food. It's quick to make and packed with nutrition.

Use any combination of vegetables below, or use whatever you have at hand. Either way, I am sure your baby will love it!

1/4 cup rice, rinsed well
1/4 cup moong daal, rinsed well
1/4 cup finely chopped vegetables
2 tbsp ghee
2 cup water
1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1 tsp lemon juice
garlic and ginger (optional)
1/4 tsp turmeric
