I keep a batch of these muffins in my freezer 24/7! They are perfect for breakfast on the go, and they're so moist and delicious! This recipe is a keeper...promise!

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon alt
4 cups bran cereal or raisin bran cereal
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
