Banana Cake with Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Frosting

Incredibly moist, tender-crumbed Banana Cake accented with just the right amount of brown sugar cream cheese frosting.
½ cup canola oil
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 very ripe bananas
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
2½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1¼ tsp baking powder
1¼ tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped walnuts (plus additional chopped walnuts for topping) [optional]
Icing
½ cup (8 Tbsp) butter, softened
8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened
? cup packed brown sugar
1 vanilla bean (can be substituted with 1 tsp vanilla extract)
3 cups confectioners sugar
3 Tbsp heavy cream
