4 (8 oz) rib eye steaks or sirloin rump or porterhouse ( boneless 1-inch thick 225 grams )
salt and pepper ( to season )
Gravy:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion ( sliced )
2 pieces garlic cloves ( minced )
7 ounces brown mushroom ( sliced )
3 tbsp butter ( unsalted )
3 tbsp flour ( plain )
2 1/2 cups beef broth or stock
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
