I do like the BIG MAC Burger but I wanted it without the carbs of bread, so I came up with this salad recipe and it's really good, the dressing is actually one that my Grandma used to make years before BIG MAC became famous I always told her she created the BIG MAC Sauce and it's true.
Iceberg lettuce a large handful or as you like
1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
2 pickles thinly sliced
3 oz extra lean ground beef cooked
Onion sliced thin
We make our own secret sauce but you can use 2 Tbsp Thousand Island
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook ground beef with onion, salt and pepper.
Arrange iceberg lettuce in bowl
Top with cooked meat mixture
Top with pickles, cheese and thousand island.
