Bisi Sasive is a very popular dish in Karnataka. Made of pumpkin, okra, (Ladyfinger), Brinjals (Eggplant), Suran (elephant foot yam), this is the low-calorie vegetable, ideal for diabetes and is good for weight loss. It is Karnataka Style Mixed Vegetable recipe easy and simple to make.

4 dried red chillies
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/8 tsp roasted fenugreek seeds (methi seeds)
1/4 cup coconut
1 1/2 tbsp oil
Water for cooking
1/4 cup okra
1/4 cup pumpkin
1/3 cup brinjals
1/3 cup suran (elephant foot yam)
Hing dissolved in water
Few curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds

Tips While you Cook:
One can feel free to add other vegetables like potatoes etc
