Black Bean Chili
We love chili in my house, especially when that chili can be made from our food storage. Anytime the Hubbs gets a hankering, I can hop into my pantry and pull out all the necessary items to whip this up. Super quick to make and by nixing the meat you save money and calories/fat! Pair it with cornbread and you are golden!
1 cup kidney beans
1 cup black beans
3 medium tomatoes - diced
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz.)
1 can of water
1 chili seasoning packet
1/2 onion chopped
1 tbl nutritional yeast (optional)
1 cup of cooked wheat berries
