You will be absolutely delighted by these blue cheese, walnut and date syrup boats, a fast and truly yummy appetizer.

2 endives (chicory)
100 g walnuts
100 g blue cheese (soft)
3 tbsp date syrup
2 tbsp sunflower seeds (optional, toasted)
  1. Wash the endives and shake off the water.
  2. Remove each leaf and place on a serving plate.

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
