Have you ever watched the Next FoodNetwork Star on the FoodNetwork? This contestant made a Burst Tomato Pasta dish that looked absolutely delicious. It was fresh, did not have a lot of ingredients, but was packed with intense flavors like fresh basil, sweet cherry tomatoes, and sauteed garlic. After watching her make this easy pasta recipe I knew I had to try it at home.

2 pints of cherry tomato
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb. of thin spaghetti
1/2 cup of reserved pasta liquid
1/2 cup of basil, thinly sliced
1- 2 Tablespoons of olive oil to finish
salt to taste

Fill one large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
In the meantime, heat a large sauce pan to medium high heat. Add olive oil and minced garlic cloves to the saucepan.
Saute for 30 seconds and no more so...
