Cajun Turkey

The cajun seasoning make this roasted turkey extra delicious and the vegetales make the meat especially moist!

1 16 lb Honeysuckle White Turkey, thawed
¼ cup softened butter
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon dried paprika
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)

1 green pepper coarsely chopped
½ onion, coarsely chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 bay leaf

1 14 oz can chicken broth
