For the biscuits:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup butter ( melted )
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
