A homemade fresh blackberry sauce spread over a croissant with chicken salad, sprouts and sharp cheddar.

2 croissants cut in half.
1 cup chicken salad
2 Tbs blackberry sauce (recipe follows)
2 slices NY Sharp Cheddar
alfalfa sprouts (to taste)
1 cup fresh blackberries
1/4 cup water
2 Tbs and 1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup chicken salad

Place slices of cheese on croissant and lighly toast to melt the cheese.
Spread desired amount of chicken salad onto croissant.
