These healthy Chocolate Pumpkin Brownies are a perfect way to indulge in a fudgy, pumpkin-y fall treat all without refined flour or sugar. They are also a delicious Thanksgiving dessert alternative to pie.

4 ounces Organic 85% Dark Chocolate
1/3 cup butter or coconut oil
1-1/2 cups coconut sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup white whole wheat flour or regular whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1-3 tablespoons almond milk or milk of choice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1. Preheat your oven to 350° F. Line an 8 or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
