Rich chocolate cake with a smooth chocolate raspberry ganache and finished with a creamy fudge frosting.

2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup dutch processed cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs ( room temp )
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp espresso powder ( optional )
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup seedless raspberry preserves
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup butter ( softened )
2 2/3 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder ( sifted )
