Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

This Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake is exactly what a coffee cake should be - crumbly, flavorful but not too sweet, and the perfect complement to a cup of coffee.

for the cake:
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder

for the cinnamon swirl:
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces

for the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
2-3 tbsp milk
