Classic Banana Bread

I\\\'ve tried many different banana bread recipes and have decided that this one is absolutely perfect! It\\\'s my go to recipe when those bananas in the fruit bowl start to turn brown. It makes the whole house smell so good. Best of all, it always makes mouths happy!

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1/4 cup plain yogurt (or sour cream)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup chopped pecans (plus an additional 1/2 cup if you want to add it to the batter)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
