Coffee & Spice Wagyu Steak Over Butternut Squash
The pan-to-oven cooking gives the delicious Fullblood Wagyu bone-in strip steak a nice crust and a juicy, tender middle. 2 tbsp. Grapeseed Oil
Roasted Butternut Squash:
1 Small Butternut Squash ( peeled, seeded, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes )
1/4 cup Grapeseed Oil
Coffee and Spice Rub:
2 tbsp. Ancho Chile Powder
2 tbsp. Finely Ground Coffee
5 tsp. Dark Brown Sugar
1 tbsp. Smoked Paprika
1 tsp. Dried Oregano
1 tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 tsp. Ground Coriander
1 tsp. Ground Cumin
2 tsp. Mustard Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Red Pepper Flakes
1 tbsp. Kosher Salt
Pull the Fullblood Wagyu bone-in strip steak from the freezer, and place it in the refrigerator 24 hours before starting this recipe.
