A delectably gourmet dish loaded with flavor for half the cost and half the time.

2 tablespoons of oil for sauteing
7 medium carrots - peeled and chopped
2 large potatoes - peeled and chopped
1 large onion - chopped
2 cloves of garlic - minced
1 pint of sliced mushrooms
salt and pepper (about 1 teaspoon of each)
1 tablespoon of thyme
1 rotisserie chicken
8oz can of peas
32oz Nature's Promise Organic Chicken Broth
2 chicken bullion cubes
1 stick of butter
4 tablespoons of flour
1 pint of heavy cream
1 package of Pillsbury pie crust
1 egg - beaten with 2 teaspoons of water to make egg wash

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
