Confetti Sugar Cookie Bars topped with Vanilla Frosting and SPRINKLES!

SUGAR COOKIE BARS:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
VANILLA FROSTING:

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
pinch of salt
sprinkles, for topping
