Cream Cheese Icing

Super creamy and delicious. Perfect icing for a Red Velvet Cupcake!

8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups of powdered sugar
Set the cream cheese and butter out and allow to reach room temperature before beginning to make the frosting! Cream the cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer using the whisk attachment. Slowly add the powdered sugar, a half of a cup at a time, and mix until well blended. Add the vanilla extract and blend well. Enjoy!
