Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup at Everyday Made Fresh

A creamier version of chicken and rice soup featuring chunks of white meat chicken and wild rice.
1 1/2 cartons of chicken broth (32oz cartons)
2 cups water
1 cup uncooked wild rice (we used Rice Select Royal Blend it’s a Texmati, Brown, Wild and Red rice blend)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup milk
1 cup half-n-half
4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, boiled and chopped
2 cups water
