3 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth


1 small onion, chopped


1 celery rib, chopped


1 clove garlic, minced


4 tablespoons butter, divided


1 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


4 tablespoons flour


1 tablespoon worcheshire sauce


1 teaspoon garlic powder


1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed and softened


2 cups shredded Velveta cheese


1 package of Hormel recipe pieces bacon


1 (12 ounce) can beer (optional)
