1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 Cup fresh bread crumbs
1 onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 8oz cans tomato sauce
1/2 can water
3 T brown sugar
3 T vinegar
2 T prepared mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Mix beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt and pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Shape in loaf and place in pan. Combine remaining ingredients with rest of tomato sauce. Bake loaf about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour off accumulated fat. Pour some of BBQ sauce over loaf and continue cooking for additional 45 minutes.
