Easy Lemon Cake in Two Versions

Lemon Syrup:
1/3 cup confectioner sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
Lemon Cake:
1 1/2 cups of flour
2 tbsp baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp poppy seeds ( optionnal )
1 tbsp vegetable oil ( for greasing the pans )
3 eggs
3 lemons ( zest and juice )

  • Take a small saucepan, bring the sugar and lemon juice to a boil.
