Easy Pesto Crusted Chicken

The chicken comes out moist and delicious, using the drippings to make extra sauce elevates the flavor, and if you have enough goes great over pasta as well. Or you can do like I did and mix the sauce with a classic tomato sauce and pasta. It’s a pretty fabulous combination if I do say so myself.

3 tbsp prepared pesto
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp lemon zest
Juice from one lemon
½ cup low sodium chicken broth
