Easy Tempeh Tacos

8 oz block Tempeh
4 cups vegetable broth
1 tbsp. soy sauce or Tamari
1 medium onion diced
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 tbsp. soy sauce or Tamari
8 corn tortillas
taco fixings ( consider shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, chopped coriander, vegan sour cream )

Slice the tempeh into strips and crumble into pieces (thumbnail size)

Place the tempeh into a pan, cover with broth and 1 tablespoon tamari (or soy sauce) and simmer for 20 minutes.

1/2 c light corn syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cornmeal, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, corn syrup and vanilla; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
