These Everbest Cookies always turn out perfectly chewy with crispy edges and they are so darn good! They have a few surprise ingredients that give them their wonderful texture and flavor. It is impossible to eat just one!

3/4 cup vegetable shortening
3/4 cup butter shortening
3/4 cup butter ( softened )
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda ( heaping teaspoons )
1 tsp baking powder ( heaping teaspoon )
4 cups oats
2 cups rice krispies cereal
1 1/2 cup coconut
  1. Mix shortenings, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
