Favorite Gingerbread Spiced Hot Chocolate

This Favorite Gingerbread Spiced Hot Chocolate recipe will leave you with an amazingly delicious holiday drink! There's no coffee involved so your kids can enjoy it too! Ready in less than 10 minutes!

4 cups milk
4 teaspoons gingerbread spice (if you don't have gingerbread spice mix readily available you can use a mix of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and ginger)
1/4 cup dutch processed cocoa powder (unsweetened)
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon dark molasses
Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Add all ingredients to a small pot and bring to a simmer while whisking. Heat until the sugar has dissolved and serve hot topped with whipped cream if desired.

3 T cornmeal
3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 c salted butter
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cornmeal, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, corn syrup and vanilla; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
