1/2 pound ground pork
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/2 cup Italian Cheese grated
2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
2 medium eggs lightly beaten
1/2 of a cup of virgin olive oil
1 medium onion finely diced
4 cloves of garlic minced
28 ounces Italian-style tomatoes
3 tablespoons of fresh parsley chopped
2 teaspoons of dried thyme
to taste kosher salt
to taste fresh ground black pepper
1 pound of quality dried pasta
to taste Extra chopped parsley ( for serving )
to taste fresh basil ( optional )
to taste red pepper flakes ( optional )
to taste grated Pecorino Romano ( optional )
28 ounces tomato puree
