Fresh Peach Dessert

This is the best peach dessert you will ever have, in my humble opinion :) But really, it is that good. And the best part, easy to make! So grab those fresh peaches and get to work!

Mix together the following:
2 pkgs Graham crackers, crushed
1 stick butter (melted)
6 Tbs. Sugar
Press half of the mixture in a 9X13" pan. Save the other half for the top.
Bring to a boil:
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. Cornstarch
Add small (3 oz.) peach Jello and stir till dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Then add 5 cups peeled and sliced (or diced) fresh peaches. Gently pour
over graham cracker crust. Chill until set. (between 2 to 4 hours)
Topping:
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton cool whip
Mix together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in cool whip. Put on top of set peach mixture. Put on the last half of graham cracker mixture. Chill to set.
Notes: I cut my peaches into about 1-2 inch pieces. If you are going to make the day before, wait till the day of to do the cream cheese topping.
