Tagliatelle with Cherry Tomatoes and Basil is a perfect vegetarian Italian dish. The recipe can be vegan if you use egg-less pasta, but we used regular fresh Italian Tagliatelle in ours.

100 g uncooked fresh tagliatelle
6 fresh cherry tomatoes
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
pinch pepper
3 of medium-size fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon olive oil

Marinated Taro Root

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
