So much better than the old-fashioned cake! These easy Fruitcake Cookies are a beautiful, festive addition to your holiday dessert tray. Spike them with alcohol or omit the booze, kids of all ages will devour these treats!

1.75 c all purpose flour
.75 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
3/4 c salted butter
.5 c granulated sugar
.5 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/4 c chopped dates
1/2 c chopped red candied cherries
1/2 c chopped green candied cherries
1/2 c chopped candied pineapple
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
