Homemade Funfetti Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting topped with sprinkles!

HOMEMADE FUNFETTI CAKE:

1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup whole milk
2/3 cup sprinkles
VANILLA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
salt, as needed
sprinkles, for topping

PRE-STEP: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9-inch cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside. STEP 1: Whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
